The evening began with applause lorsqu'Olivia Newton-John appeared on stage at the Big Top which plays the musical XANADU .
She had come to remember that production supported the construction of its cancer center, the ONJCWC .
Over half a million dollars will be raised through this first and it is hoped that another half million will be raised through ticket sales in general, with a $ 1 levy on each ticket sold.

Olivia Newton-John has joined the cast onstage at the end of the show to sing an encore the famous song "Xanadu" ... composed in 1980 by the group Electric Light Orchestra.

XANADU continue to enchant the Grand Marquee Xanadu until 3 April, then will move to Sydney.
